So are we here again ;) Another fine blog about my lovely AmigaOS 4.1.5 system running flawlessy on my AmigaOne 500!
This time i was testing some more applications. On this screenshot, i successfully downloaded the latest version of Cinnamon Writer - An easy but powerful word processing program for AmigaOS4! This program helps me doing some serious office work until some other office bundles appear.
Other things i have done for few days are looking for more games to run in the ScummVM emulator. I managed to track down a site called Emuparadise, and it was on that site i found several great adventures to run in ScummVM. These appeared to be:
*Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade
*Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis
*Leisure Suit Larry 1, 2 and 3
*Space Quest 1, 3 and 4
*Police Quest 1 and 2
*Quest For Glory - Trial By Fire
*Zak
All these games were Amiga versions, so i installed them and VOILA! More fun in ScummVM!
Playing the old games are a breeze and really relaxing! Lovely retro-feeling and hours of fun!
What is really great playing old retro games is that they provide a unique charm and fun you don't usually see in modern games of today.
Also, the Amiga render and audio modes in ScummVM are excellent, and they give the old games the true, native Amiga-feeling! The Amiga render mode renders the colors of the games in a nicer, more stylish way, while emulation of Amiga audio is as true as you can get to the native Amiga audio itself!
